Condolence & Memory Journal

Judy was a neighbor of mine for over twenty years. I knew her to be a very creative woman. She canned, worked in the garden with Bob, loved to walk and ride her bike with Bob, (to show his love for Judy he bought her a motor so she could still ride with him). That show of compassion I will always remember as I seen both of them riding down the bike path together seeming like nothing was wrong but just the sun above and the ride before them. Even though I knew Judy was struggling she showed courage and strength dealing with the terrible cancer that she was enduring everyday of her life. When I would speak with her I never heard her complain and there was always a glimpse of hope in her eyes. Judy will be missed. My prayers are that Bob will carry on as Judy would have wished with that same glimmer of hope, living life to the best of his ability in the memory of his beloved wife.

Judy will always be my freckle-faced little cousin. I was so blessed to be able to spend some time with her before her passing. I am relieved to know that her years of pain are finally over and she is at peace. Words cannot express the loving devotion from Bob. I pray that he can quickly begin a new era of his life and find happiness.
